Hues of Happiness DSP Customer Calendars

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post today.  Every year it has become a tradition to make my customers and team members (and some family members too!) calendars for the coming year.  I have several that look forward to getting them every year.  This year, I was crunched for time, so I copied a version I had seen several people make versions of online that had no stamping.  It uses the gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP.  It is super simple to make and assemble and uses less than one sheet of cardstock for the easel for the calendar.  As an added bonus I added a pocket to the front that holds a pack of post-it-notes and a small pencil (which I got from Amazon).  The mini tear-off calendars can also be purchased online.  

I used several colors of Card Stock to coordinate with the DSP colors.  I did use a retired corner rounder punch on the top outer corners, but you do not have to round the edges.  I folded and scored the Cardstock and DSP as listed below and adhered the base and pocket with Tear & Tape so it would be sturdy.  I added some metallic flowers in each corner and some brass butterflies in the top center after the box and DSP were assembled.  Final touches included attaching the calendar to the front and popping in the Post-it-Note pad and pencil in the pocket.  Super simple, but also useful!  I think everyone will like them, and they will have something to think of me all year long!

Soft Seedlings November Customer Thank You Cards

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post today.  This is my customer Thank You cards for November.  They are using the Soft Seedling stamp set.  We had our first cold snap for the year this week, so I was feeling fall colors were necessary.  I love fall and all the rich colors that go with it!

I used several colors of ink on the large leaf stamp with sponge daubers to get the veriagated look to the leaves.  I stamped this on a Pale Papaya CS panel and layered a matted strip of Metallic Shimmer paper to the left of it.  I then stamped the Thanks sentiment from the Biggest Wishes set on a scrap of Pale Papaya CS and repeated the Cajun Craze mat behind it and popped it on dimensionals.  I added some copper brushed metallic dots around the front for some added shine. For the card inside, I used another Pale Papaya panel and stamped the So Grateful sentiment from the Soft Seedling stamp set in Cajun Craze ink.  I repeated the sponging for the smaller leaf from the set in the corners and adhered to a Pumpkin Pie mat and into the Cajun Craze card base.

Texture Chic Customer Thank You - October 2022

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post today.  This is my customer Thank You cards for October.  They are using the Texture Chic Suite.  I was looking to make quick but gorgeous cards, and the Texture Chic DSP and the coordinating Cards & Envelopes were just what I was looking for.

I die cut the tags using pieces from the Texture Chic Memories and More pack and the Tailored Tags dies, then stamped the Thanks from the Season of Chic stamp set in Soft Suede ink.  I cut a strip of the Texture Chic DSP to go behind the tag.  I then stamped two leaves, one in Petal Pink ink and the other in Pool Party, then die cut them each with the corresponding die as well as an additional leaf from the Distressed Gold Specialty paper.  I tucked the leaves behind the tag.  I attached a Petal Pink ribbon to the tag, securing it with scotch tape on the back of the tag and gathering it in the gold Simply Elegant trim which I tied in a bow.  I placed the tag at a slight angle and attached it with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Here is an up close view of just one card:
